Beta Radiation Water Test

This testing package specifically analyzes for gross alpha particles, gross beta particles, strontium-90, cesium, cesium-137, potassium, potassium-40, and radium-228. According to a recent investigative report by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), more than 170 million Americans drink tap water contaminated by radiation. Long term exposure to low levels of radiation in drinking water is a serious health hazard, especially for pregnant women.
This Tap Score water test package provides all required materials to properly collect and submit a sample for certified laboratory testing. Reported results will include detailed, quantified analysis of all parameters tested.
Note: If no total strontium is detected, then results are completed within 12 working days. If total strontium does include a detection, then subsequent analysis will continue in order to obtain a result for strontium-90. This second phase of analysis may require up to 3 weeks to obtain an accurate result.
