Mold and Fungus Water Test
The Mold and Fungus Water Test will analyze your water quality for presence of various mold and fungus genus and species. Plus, this testing panel also includes analysis of heterotrophic bacteria contamination, Total HPC. Heterotrophic bacteria are broadly defined as microorganisms that require organic carbon for growth. They include bacteria, yeasts and molds.
This testing package is particularly popular for testing of black mold, (Asp. spp.) and other Aspergillus formations with full speciation of the Penicillium & Cladosporium genus.
Results will be reported as a quantitative fungal analysis, measuring your detected species in units of colony forming units per mL (CFU / mL).
Mold can enter your home in a variety of ways. If there's moisture, dampness, and protection from direct sunlight–mold spores can, and will grow into bigger and bigger problems. Rapid growth occurs in areas with lots of moisture–particularly near leaks in pipes, windows, or rooftops–but frankly no area is outside the realm of mold-growth possibility.
